Privacy Policy
GLPal ("we," "us," "our") is a personal tracking app for people using GLP-1 medications. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have over your information.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: your name and email address when you create an account.
- Health & tracking data you enter: medications and doses, delivery method, side effects and symptom ratings, food tolerance notes, weight and body measurements, daily goals (protein, fiber, hydration), and reminders. You choose what to log.
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical data needed to run the app and diagnose problems (for example, app version and device type). We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
- Subscription status (whether you have an active Premium subscription).
2. How we use your information
- To provide the core features of the app — storing and displaying the data you log.
- To sync your data securely to your account so it's available across sessions.
- To send local reminder notifications you set up (these are scheduled on your device).
- To manage your subscription and unlock Premium features.
- To respond to your support requests and keep the app secure and working.
3. How your data is stored
Your account and tracking data are stored securely using Supabase, our hosting and database provider, which stores data on our behalf and encrypts it in transit. We restrict access to your data to what's needed to operate the service.
4. Subscriptions and payments
Premium subscriptions are sold and billed through the Apple App Store, and subscription status is managed with the help of RevenueCat, our subscription-management provider. We never see or store your credit card or full payment details — those are handled entirely by Apple.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that make the app work, and only as needed to provide the service:
- Supabase — secure data storage and account authentication.
- RevenueCat — subscription status management.
- Apple — App Store payments and delivery.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or GLPal.
6. Your choices and rights
- Access & export: you can export a copy of your data at any time from Settings inside the app.
- Delete: you can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings. This removes your tracking data and your account, and cannot be undone.
- Notifications: you can turn reminders on or off in the app or in your device settings.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as under GDPR or CCPA) to access, correct, or delete your data. To make a request, contact us at brandon@myglpal.com.
7. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your tracking data and account are removed from our systems. Backups, if any, are cycled out in the normal course of operation.
8. Children's privacy
GLPal is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll remove it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
