Terms of Use
Welcome to GLPal. These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and GLPal governing your use of the GLPal mobile app and related services (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
1. Who can use GLPal
You must be at least 18 years old to use GLPal. By using the App, you confirm that you are.
2. Medical disclaimer — please read
GLPal is a personal tracking tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The App does not replace professional medical care.
Always seek the advice of your physician, pharmacist, or other qualified healthcare provider with any questions about your medication, dosing, side effects, or health. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something in the App. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you log and for any decisions you make. Do not change your medication or dose based on the App.
3. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized use. You're responsible for the data you enter.
4. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
GLPal offers an optional auto-renewing Premium subscription that unlocks unlimited history, progress insights, and doctor-ready summaries.
- Plans & pricing: Premium is offered as a monthly plan ($4.99/month) and an annual plan ($34.99/year). Prices are shown in the App before purchase and may vary by region and over time.
- Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal: Your subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price of the plan you selected.
- Managing & canceling: You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.
- Free tier: GLPal is free to use with access to your most recent 30 days of history. No payment is required to use the core features.
- Refunds: Purchases are handled by Apple. Refund requests are subject to Apple's policies; we generally cannot issue refunds directly.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the App — including attempting to break, reverse-engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the App or other users' data, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
6. Your content
The data you log is yours. You grant us the limited permission needed to store and display it so we can provide the App to you. You can export or delete your data at any time from within the App.
7. Intellectual property
The App, including its design, branding, and software, is owned by GLPal and protected by law. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks or content except to use the App as intended.
8. Trademark
GLPal and its developer are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to Novo Nordisk, Eli Lilly, or any other pharmaceutical manufacturer, nor any of their affiliates or subsidiaries. All references to these trademarked names within the App are used strictly for identification and informational purposes, consistent with nominative fair use, and do not imply any business relationship, partnership, endorsement, or approval by the trademark owners.
Generic drug names referenced in the App, including semaglutide and tirzepatide, are provided for informational purposes only and are not intended to substitute for professional medical guidance.
All trademarks, service marks, and trade names other than GLPal's own marks that appear in the App are the property of their respective owners. Use of these terms does not grant users any rights or licenses to use those trademarks.
9. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that stored data will never be lost.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GLPal and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any health outcomes, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Termination
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the App.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
13. Apple App Store terms
Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). If any of these Terms conflict with Apple's EULA, Apple's EULA governs to the extent of that conflict. You acknowledge that Apple is not responsible for the App or for providing support or handling claims relating to it, and that Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms with the right to enforce them.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continuing to use the App means you accept the updated Terms.
